A boat for every budget

Showcasing hundreds of motorised yachts - from high-speed power boats to comfortable sloops and luxury yachts - HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show has a boat for every budget. Renowned brands and companies as well as a range of interesting newcomers will exhibit their flagships and latest launches. The exhibition also includes a number of companies specialised in inboard and outboard propulsion and there will be demonstrations on outboard motor repair and maintenance.
Water Fun Zone

Water Fun Zone: Virtual ánd real-life!

The Water Fun Zone will serve as the athletic centre of the exhibition with spectacular activities that will introduce newcomers, and especially youngsters, to a wide variety of watersports. It gives kids and teens a chance to experiment with various forms of sport by taking free sailing lessons, or trying out model sailing, surfing, waterskiing, canoe polo, freestyle canoeing and rowing. A new basin with waves will even allow them to go surfing on real waves, while the HISWA Virtual Experience provides several kinds of virtual watersport experiences.

Sail Theatre: Focus on sailing

The show presents a wide array of products for sailors. The extensive sailing yacht segment will display a wide selection of boats ranging from day sailors to open sailboats in the large Dinghy & Day Sailers World, fun and fascinating presentations at the Sail Theatre, and activities such as free sailing classes. Saloon sailyachts of over nine metres are exhibited on a large quay that exudes the look and feel of an actual harbour.

The DIY plaza provides an opportunity to watch demonstrations or ask questions about boat maintenance. The Sailing School features several CWO sailing schools that provide information on watersports courses at all levels and for all ages. Electric Boating Pavilion: The sound of silence

In cooperation with the Electric Boating Foundation and the City of Amsterdam, the HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show is organising the first Electric Boating Pavilion. All-electric and hybrid is the future and although an increasing number of people are discovering the joys of boating in silence without emissions, this mode of propulsion remains unknown to many people. The Electric Boating Pavilion offers HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show you a look into the world of electric and hybrid boats, power and energy supplies.

Innovation on all fronts

Clean engines, yacht airbags that prevent sinking, the toughest boat paints and lacquers, a generator powered by methanol, world voyages, a new ultra lightweight boat shoe, a lightweight tender for in the lazarette and the latest weather stations; these are only some of the innovations featured on the exhibition floor. In addition, all registered new products and services compete for the HISWA Innovation Award with the winner being announced on the opening day of the exhibition.
