HISWA 2011 PROGRAMMEThe HISWA exhibits over 500 vessels in various categories, including global premieres such as the new Favorite 1400 from Mulder Shipyard and the VanDutch 30. International brands such as Beneteau, Dehler, Catalina, Winner, Quicksilver, Cobalt and ZAR will also feature the latest boats from their collection. In addition, HISWA 2011 offers a wide range of fun activities such as:
- The Sail Theatre inspires sailors with daily interactive sessions on subjects such as Dream Travels (stories from travellers), Sailing in Heavy Weather and Children On Board.
- The Meteo clinics are educational to all exhibition visitors who sail the open waters. Via everyday practical situations, visitors gain an increased insight into the field of meteorology. The clinics are organised by Zilt .
- An introduction to various watersports in a pool of over 400 square metres with wind turbines and cables in the HISWA Water Fun Zone.
- Fifteen-year-old Laura Dekker takes a break from her round the world sailing adventure to share her experiences so far with HISWA visitors. Each day she will talk about her travels at the Sail Theatre, and teach young visitors sailing tips and tricks in the pool.
- The shopping gallery features thousands of nautical accessories, while inspiration and information is available in the many pavilions. See an impression of the Amsterdam Boat Show!
