The HISWA has been an established name both among the general public and in the water sports industry itself since 1933. The Benelux’s largest boat show traditionally heralds the start of the new sailing season. Some 60,000 enthusiasts of all the different water sports come together every spring in Amsterdam RAI to see all the latest boats and nautical products. Over 350 exhibitors take part each year.

POSITVE OUTLOOK FOR HISWA 2010

The HISWA Amsterdam Boat Show is well on course despite the turbulent economic climate. A total of 210 exhibitors has already registered, almost 15 percent more than at the same time last year.

The Dutch watersports sector has also been affected by the global financial downturn. Yet, although some exhibitors have signed up for a smaller stand than before, the industry is still sending a clear message with the large number of registrations we have already received. These include a significant number of major companies, as you can see from the exhibitor list.

We are very aware of the challenges of the current economic climate, especially those faced by the watersports industry. The HISWA 2010 has therefore been fully adapted to the current situation to offer you the following benefits:

  • Free tickets (two per sq. m.)
